1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using EarCast — Mobile Audio Receiver or EarCast — TV Audio Broadcaster, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the applications.
2. License Grant
Soloship Studio grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the applications solely for personal, non-commercial private listening purposes in accordance with these Terms.
3. Multi-Listener Subscriptions & In-App Purchases
EarCast offers optional premium tiers through Google Play Billing:
- Free Tier: Includes single-device private listening supported by non-intrusive advertisements.
- EarCast Family: Unlocks simultaneous broadcasting for up to 3 mobile devices and removes all ads.
- EarCast Pro: Unlocks unlimited simultaneous listener slots, priority low-latency audio buffers, and completely removes all ads.
Host License Sharing: When a subscribed Pro or Family user connects to an EarCast TV broadcaster, the elevated capacity applies to that TV session, allowing guest devices on the same local Wi-Fi to listen without purchasing individual licenses.
4. Billing, Cancellations, and Refunds
All billing operations and subscriptions are processed directly through your Google Play account. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via Google Play Store > Subscriptions. Refund requests are subject to Google Play refund policies.
5. Local Network Requirements
EarCast requires your mobile phone and Android TV / Google TV to be connected to the same local area network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet). Performance and latency depend on the quality of your home router and local radio frequency interference. Soloship Studio is not liable for audio delays caused by congested local Wi-Fi networks.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All rights, title, and interest in and to EarCast, including application code, visual assets, trademarks, and documentation, are the exclusive property of Soloship Studio. You agree not to decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the application binaries.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
EarCast is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. Soloship Studio makes no warranty that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with all third-party media players or DRM-restricted audio streams.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Soloship Studio or its developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your access to or inability to use the software.
